He can make you feel like home instantly and is eager to get to know you. He's sharing his love to Ferrara but is also ready to show you the beauty of whole Emilia Romagna. His knowledge of history and architecture makes a regular walk around city center a journey in time.  I'd reccomend this host to everyone who is open to new experiences and expect from couchsurfing something more than just a place to sleep. P.S. Andrea is a really good cook!

We talked about many things, he advised me some good restaurants in the city and nice places to sightsee in the region. It's a pity we could not meet once more during my stay there, as he left Ferrara for holidays!

Maybe he didnt host me and my friend but he was like all the time, a referance,a guide while we were tryin to apply to visa. Also offered us to take his house key from him when he is in Turkey for the second time.We asked many questions to him,he always answered me with eternal patience.Before us, he came to Turkey twice. When we met, we hang around Taksim, listened good ethnic songs at the store, (these Turkish songs is fine with raki,like greeks haha), ate Turkish Van breakfast at 4 pm!!Then we went Istanbul Modern, drank Turkish coffee there with his friend Tugce -also his host- in Istanbul🤗Andrea is easygoing,open-minded,a good friend that you can tell about your life story sincerely.He will listen you for sure even you tell about sad things that happened although he may be sad because of what he heard P.S...

Andrea was such a great host, he picked me up at the train station, showed around the city and explain about the architecture, he is a really wise man! For the dinner we cooked and he also teached me how to make a great pasta with pancheta and zuca, a traditional meal of his city, really worth it! For sure he is a great person, very friendly, kind, full of good energy and curiosities, I wish we had a longer time together! It would be great to see him again to chat and chat and chat, what a great conversation! If you are in doubt about request to stay, with him, don't be, really, he is a respectful guy who also like to help and share! Miss you Andrea! I came to Ferrara on my way to Verona to visit a friend but I found an even "better" one in Andrea. We talked a lot about everything from politics to social commitment and relationships and it felt like talking to an old friend :). I still need to encourage him to do more sport and he's helping me with my italian so keep in touch ahah :D
